Hyacinth City of Haarlem (Hyacinthus orientalis City of Haarlem) is the best and most well-known oriental hyacinth in a (soft) yellow colour. The star-shaped flowers have petals that slightly curl backwards as they grow very closely to the sturdy stem. City of Haarlem has proven to be the most memorable one, even during the years when yellow flowers were, generally, less popular.
